TrustFord recruits staff to represent trust for new ad campaign

To mark the transition to its new customer facing brand, Ford Retail, the world’s largest dedicated Ford dealership group, has launched a major marketing campaign that includes online, print, outdoor and radio advertising, PR and social media engagement.

The new customer facing name, TrustFord, reflects the company’s philosophy of excellent customer service and transparency; traits that have always been at the very heart of the business and which have been instrumental in informing the new identity.

The TrustFord advertising campaign, created by branding agency Good,@thisisgoodnews which also handled the rebrand, features colleagues from the company’s national network of 65 dealership sites, including a Sales Executive, a General Manager and a Technician.

Events : Philip Smith of Trusted Shops talks to Chloe Rigby of IRX 2014

by Will Corry on February 25, 2014

Philip Smith [IRDX IPHS], country manager UK at Trusted Shops [IRDX VTRS], is speaking at Internet Retailing Expo 2014 (IRX 2014). We caught up with him ahead of his presentation.

Internet Retailing: At IRX 2014 you’re going to be advising retailers on crossing borders. What type of retailers are best suited to take on the cross-border challenge?

Philip Smith, country manager, UK, Trusted Shops: I think it comes down to what kind of product you’re selling. Last year we saw fashion and clothing retailers leading the way with UK exports. A lot of this was put down to the fact that international consumers like UK brands at the moment.

At IRX 2014, Smith will be joined by Andrew Watson, head of online marketing at and Naveen Aricatt, audit and legal, of Trusted Shops GmbH. They’ll be speaking in the International and Cross Border conference in a sponsor keynote session, Overcoming the three main stumbling blocks when crossing borders. Three tourism videos / VisitBritain’s new offering, Adelaide, South Australia and a conference video from Emerald Isle – which one is best?

by Will Corry on February 19, 2014

Interesting mix of old and new tourism videos.

I decided to go (a) B2B on a conference video from Ireland; (b) A new, quite traditional styled video from the UK and finally an altogether (c) totally different approach from the guys and girls in South Australia.

As a very quick snapshot survey approach please can you tell us which one of the three impacted on you and why it worked. (Assuming, of course it did).
