Screen Expo Europe

Screen Expo Europe, Europe’s largest dedicated digital signage and digital media networks exhibition, looks set to be 50% bigger in 2008 and has attracted support from exhibitors from 15 nations according to organisers Screen Events Ltd. The event, which is in its third year, will be held in London’s National Hall, Olympia on 5-6 February 2008.

Commenting, Mark Pigou, Director, Screen Events, said, “Early interest from exhibitors and visitors alike has exceeded our expectations. We will be welcoming over 30 new exhibitors to the show and many existing clients have increased their presence with us for 2008. The 15 nations represented will include Russia and India for the first time. We are particularly pleased with this development as it shows us that the market is now maturing and the scope for digital signage and media networks across a broad range of vertical markets is really taking hold.”

In 2007, Screen Expo attracted over 3,500 visitors from 46 countries, and covered the full spectrum from commercial and public sector end users through to media owners, entrepreneurs and financiers.

New features for 2008 include The Screen – Network Owners Pavilion, a gathering of existing digital media networks who will have a unique opportunity to interact with the media buying, advertising and brand ownership communities and reinforce the future of digital media networks as a compelling advertising medium.

In a further development, Screen Events issued a call for papers, inviting exhibitors to submit proposals for speaking in the four show-floor theatres: The Content Theatre, The Advertising Centre, Network Owners’ Pavilion and Thought Leadership Pavilion. Outline agendas and confirmed speakers will be emailed on a monthly basis from November.
