Three 2m tall pirate statues were spotted attacking the shores in locations around the British coastline yesterday in a stunt from Walt Disney Studios to promote ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge’, which has opened in cinemas nationwide.

Jarlsberg cheese gives movie fans a whole new take on their favourite films, with three new videos of classic dinner scenes shot from an entirely new angle.

Created by Stockholm and Amsterdam-based creative agency, Perfect Fools, this new take puts the focus firmly on the food, with every detail from the movies lovingly recreated.

The spots are shot from above in the style popular on Instagram. The first invites viewers to forget about the argument over faking it, because the deli sandwiches are the stars in “I’ll have what cheese having”.

Earlier this year the NBA recently announced it was allowing its basketball franchises to attract shirt sponsors for the first time, Get Me Media’s Pete Davis hopes they won’t follow the football route and only sell to the highest bidder.

For years, the big US sports franchises – basketball, American football, baseball, ice hockey, etc – have protected their first-team shirts from sponsorship. There have been plenty of deals elsewhere, including individual player endorsements and practice shirt sponsors, but the main shirts have remained sacrosanct, unsullied by commercial forces.

But it’s clear that times are changing, with the recent news of the NBA opening up basketball team shirts to sponsorship.
