Waitrose holds title for strongest Christmas campaign

With the holidays fast approaching, annual research from email service provider, Mailjet, has revealed that Waitrose is ahead of other supermarkets in the email campaign stakes as it vies to be consumers’ choice for Christmas dinner this year.

With a total score of 21.3 points out of an available 29.0, this marks the second consecutive victory for Waitrose in the study carried out by marketing experts at Mailjet. This year’s success also represents a significant improvement on Waitrose’s performance from last year, rising by 10% overall.

The launch of Amazon’s ‘Internet of Things' Dash service could steal 20% of UK supermarket online sales, says e-commerce delivery expert ParcelHero.

Amazon is continuing its assault on the UK grocery market with the launch of its Dash service for UK Prime members. While some industry experts are predicting it will capture just 3% of the grocery market for Amazon, e-tail delivery specialists ParcelHero believe the launch of Dash could capture Amazon a 20% share of the online market by 2020 – and could even spell doom for one supermarket chain.

Parker Williams has redesigned the packaging for the entire 40-strong range of Rachel's yogurts.

This is the brand's first redesign in five years and Parker Williams' task was to evolve the look to better express the positioning of the genuine pleasurable taste and also build people's emotional connection to the brand. The updated packaging focuses on the gorgeousness of real fruit and the creamy texture of the yogurt.

Hand-scripted lettering emphasises the personal touch and link to Rachel herself and the brand story.
