Back in 2014, Bentley University released a study that suggested millennials are the most independent, nimble and overall entrepreneurial generation ever to have existed. Plus, while their predecessors aimed for that prestigious corner office millennials have entirely different career aims in mind.

Of those surveyed, just 13% of millennials wanted to climb the corporate ladder and claim the title of CEO or president. Conversely, a whopping 67% stated that their ultimate career goal was starting their own business. Director of Bentley’s Entrepreneurial Studies programme Fred Tuffile put this down to the idea that millennials see no future in more traditional pathways and instead wish to create their own. Research : Brits spend £1.46 billion a month via mobile payments

New research from VoucherCodes.co.uk has found that Brits are spending, on average, £36.76 of their monthly disposable income via their mobile devices. This equates to a huge £1.46 billion spent using mobile technology in the UK every month*.

The digitally savvy younger generations are leading the charge in mobile payment adoption, with those aged 18 to 24 spending £67.59 of their monthly disposable income via their mobile devices compared to just £16.89 amongst those aged 55 and over. Currently, men are over twice as likely as women to shop using mobile payments in store (12% vs 5%).

Peugeot launches new Just Add Fuel campaign targeting millennials

Peugeot has launched a new social and online campaign for its Just Add Fuel insurance finance package aimed at helping young people who want to buy their first car.

Just Add Fuel (JAF) is a deal where the owner pays a fixed low monthly fee, which includes insurance, three years’ warranty and road tax. JAF has been made available to millennials for the first time because it now comes with telematics (technology that monitors the quality of your driving) - which means millenials can now afford to drive a brand new Peugeot, instead of the usual option available to them; doing up an old banger.
