Movers and Groovers : Ingenuity has appointed Claire van der Zant as business director

Ingenuity, the independent integrated new business consultancy for agencies and brands, has appointed Claire van der Zant as business director as it pursues strong growth in 2016.

Van der Zant joins from Cherry London where she was head of new business. At Cherry, she developed partnership-led CRM, acquisition and loyalty programmes, helping to launch O2 Priority. Prior to that she was client partner at Rainmaker.

In a recent article for Ad Age, Ruth Stephens offered her"top seven" list of b-to-b marketing channels. Topping the list was website lead generation.

Stephens reviews the basic ways in which businesses typically use their websites for inbound lead gen, from offering a white paper or other download in exchange for contact information, to using IP address identification software to discover which company a visitor is from and then placing a sales call to that company.

LIDA restructures creative department after major business wins

Digital and Direct Agency LIDA has won the coveted Land Rover UK retail marketing account after a competitive pitch run by ISBA.

The agency will now run retail marketing and aftersales for the iconic British car manufacturer.

It is the second Land Rover win for @lidalondon in less than ten months, after the agency was appointed to develop a class-leading customer engagement programme in 2013.

It comes at an exciting stage for Land Rover who announced earlier this month the upcoming launch of the new Discovery family of vehicles.
