Leading short break expert Center Parcs unveils a new TV advertisement as part of a broader marketing campaign celebrating the forest as an immersive playground.  The new 50-second TV commercial launches on 21st December on the company’s Facebook channel, before featuring on TV from 23rd December.

The integrated campaign, which includes cinema, digital and VoD activity, as well as social, PR and at each of its five UK villages, is timed around the travel industry’s peak booking season as families start to plan their family breaks, and will run until March 2017. [more…]

The campaign, created by RKCR/Y&R, comprises of TV, radio, print, digital, VOD, broadcast idents, social and in-store. New Research : Three in four consumers link social video viewing to purchasing decisions

Three quarters (74%) of consumers say there is a connection between watching a video on social media and their purchasing decision-making process, according to new research commissioned by online video solutions provider, Brightcove Inc.

The global survey – conducted with 5,500 consumers in the UK, France, Germany, US and Australia, and published in Brightcove’s ‘The Science of Social Video: Turning Views into Value’ report – revealed that nearly half (46%) of viewers have actually made a purchase as a result of watching a branded video on social media and another third (32%) have considered doing so. eBay.co.uk have announced the launch of its 2016 Christmas campaign – delivering the ultimate shop for the festive season.

The integrated campaign is led by a national television advertisement launching this weekend. Together with the vision of director Nick Gordon (whose credits include ads for MoneySupermarket and John Smith's), the ad offers a fly on the wall perspective of a familiar disco scene – with scenarios brought right up to date for the UK in 2016.

Red Bull is launching a world first again with the debut of a new disruptive social media tool called Shout/out, created by The Marketing Store and aimed at reclaiming social media feeds for the user.

Shout/out launched to the public for the first time over the weekend at GLA x LDN in Glasgow, which is part of Red Bull’s Music Academy UK Tour. The tool harnesses speed-reading techniques to help users to communicate at live events without being shackled by Twitter’s 140-word character limit.
