Tremor Video announces Sue Hunt as new EMEA MD to drive programmatic offering

Video ad technology company Tremor Video today announced Sue Hunt as the new EMEA Managing Director to drive the company’s increased focus on programmatic.

Hunt, taking over from the departing Alex Macnamara, will manage the company’s UK media and publisher networks, expand programmatic relationships in Europe, and oversee the development of new strategic initiatives.

Tremor Video Accredited by MRC for Viewable Impression and Viewable Completion Metrics

Video ad technology company Tremor Video today announced it has received accreditation by the Media Rating Council (MRC) for its measurement of viewable video ad impressions and related viewability metrics, as well as its viewable video ad completions.

The accreditation means that the company’s programmatic buying platform and managed service clients can now buy and optimise on Tremor Video’s MRC-accredited viewability statistics. The company’s VideoHub® technology was the first to become accredited for a video viewability metric (Average Viewability Percentage) in May 2013. It is now accredited by the MRC for its video viewable impression, as well as a range of other viewability-related measures. [more…]

Video ad technology company Tremor Video @TremorVideo has formed an international partnership with digital performance company DoubleVerify @doubleverify to reduce online ad fraud by eliminating machine or bot-based impressions from campaigns.

When a call to serve an ad is received, DoubleVerify’s advanced fraud protection technology determines whether it’s from a bot or consumer – if it's a bot the impression is blocked and the ad won’t be served. The partnership covers the U.K., U.S. and Canadian markets. [more…]

Based on the largest ever research study on mobile video, conducted by Millward Brown, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) today published a guide in conjunction with video ad technology company Tremor Video to help improve the quality of mobile video ad campaigns.
