Created by RAPP UK , the baby-on-board style badges are designed to celebrate and recognize the runner’s achievement and encourage commuters to offer a seat to tired marathon runners the day after the race. New Research : UK firms freeze marketing spend

British companies froze their marketing budgets during the third quarter amid rising uncertainties about the economy as the UK looks to exit the European Union, a survey showed last Wednesday.

The IPA Bellwether report showed that near 70 percent of its survey panel recorded no change in marketing budget since the second quarter. Rising inflation - driven largely by the pound's fall since last year's vote to leave the European Union - has squeezed household incomes, causing broader economic growth to slow.

UK supermarket Morrisons is tapping into a pie-based scandal at non-league football side Sutton FC, offering the club’s former reserve keeper an ambassadorial role.

Forty-six-year-old Wayne Shaw is currently under investigation from the FA under allegations of illegal gambling all revolving around his half time meal, a greasy pie, dined upon during Arsenal's 2-0 FA Cup victory on Monday.
