Performance Horizon Group’s Paul Newton Named Accountant of the Year

Clients won with ExactView’s innovative payment solution

Performance Horizon Group (PHG), a leading provider of performance marketing technology, is celebrating after its Chief Financial Officer Paul Newton was named ‘Accountant of the Year’.

The judges, at the recent Nigel Wright North East Accountancy Awards, noted Paul’s “great enthusiasm for his role which has impacted across all areas of the business and has been fundamental to the financial strength of the company.” It was this, alongside the inclusion of an innovative and unique payment solution within PHG’s technology led by Paul, which made him the category winner against a shortlist of hopefuls from across the region.

With its headquarters in Boldon, North East England, Performance Horizon Group has been heralded as an innovator in the performance marketing sector after releasing ExactView; a global platform for tracking, reporting, managing and optimising performance partner relationships across multiple marketing channels, such as affiliate and lead generation. ExactView is currently being used by over 25 brands, including the likes of mobile operator Everything Everywhere and optical brand Acuvue, in 11 countries.

Making the publisher payment system as flexible as possible, ExactView’s cutting edge finance solution allows publishers to be paid securely in any currency, almost anywhere on the planet with the minimum of fuss. Daily payment runs also mean publishers can draw on their funds as soon as merchants make the payments and as they are held in PHG’s client bank account they are protected from insolvency – unique benefits other performance marketing companies cannot boast.

Paul’s win comes as a welcome addition to PHG’s already bulging awards’ cabinet after the brand was named ‘Innovative Start-Up 2012’ at the Marketing Innovation Awards and ‘Best New Entrant’ at the Performance Marketing Awards earlier in the year.

Commenting upon Paul’s win and the on-going success of the company, CEO Malcolm Cowley said: “We started 2012 with a very promising outlook after receiving round two seed funding in both the UK and US and since then the brand has grown spectacularly. We have taken on an impressive portfolio of global clients spanning 11 countries, bolstered our teams in both the UK and USA and won an impressive selection of awards. Paul’s recent win is testament to the fact that having the right people on board will shape and help us meet our ambitious growth plans and Paul’s innovative ExactView payment solution has also helped us to win business. I am overjoyed that he has been professionally recognised for his expertise, hard work and dedication.”

In addition to its operations in North East England, PHG has offices in London, New York and on the West Coast of America.
