Tesco has appointed Summersault Communications, one of the UK’s biggest employee engagement specialists, to produce its staff newspaper The One.
The contract was awarded following a competitive pitch and means that Summersault will take on Tesco’s existing monthly publication.
The brief is to boost engagement levels within Tesco’s 300,000 employees and the Summersault team will not only look at the design and editorial strategies of the newspaper, but also at its distribution to staff.
The One will help employees to share knowledge and also foster a collective pride in the Tesco brand, with editorial content tying in with the company’s strategic objectives.
