Monster has today announced the appointment of Sinead Bunting as Marketing Director, UK & Ireland.

Ms Bunting, who has held the role of Media & Alliances Director since April 2012, will be responsible for building on the ‘Find Better’ brand promise and raising awareness of Monster’s innovative range of HR technology solutions.

Prior to joining Monster, Ms Bunting was Director and digital lead at MediaCom, where she helped transform the company’s recruitment marketing strategy with the launch of its Career Division – the first recruitment marketing division within a media consumer agency. It went on to become the fastest growing department in the company with new business wins that included Emirates Airlines, British Army, Deutsche Bank and RBS.

In her role at Monster, Ms Bunting was integral to developing the brand’s recent £2.5million multi-channel advertising campaign – the first of its kind for Monster UK. She now aims to build on that success and evolve the brand story, focusing in particular on Monster’s investment in innovation with its patented 6Sense semantic search technology and its talent management platform SeeMore, which enables HR managers to navigate numerous talent pools.

Shell’s global recruitment campaigns

Ms Bunting is a pioneer of recruitment marketing, and her CV lists a number of firsts in the industry. At MediaCom she worked on the first end-to-end advertising tracking solution for Shell’s global recruitment campaigns and devised Deutsche Bank’s Global social media strategy involving employee ambassadors. In her previous role at TMP Worldwide she developed ground-breaking recruitment campaigns using mobile, rich media and Google.

“I have a real passion for technology, especially when it is used to bring employers and jobseekers together,” said Ms Bunting. “That’s what drew me to Monster, and makes it the perfect career destination. It is an advanced technology company with the ability to help people to find better in their careers.

“Yet Monster’s technological capability is its best-kept secret. Our offering has evolved hugely over recent years and it is important that we also evolve our marketing to effectively to tell this brand story.”
