Giant iTab wins ‘Best New Technology Product’ at the Event Technology Awards

The Giant iTab, created by the digital experts Touch2View, was awarded ‘The Best New Technology Product’ at the Event Technology Awards in London on Friday 15 November.

The  ‘Giant iTab’ product (a Giant Interactive Tablet) has been developed specifically for event organisers who are looking for innovative ways to engage audiences and deliver an enriched event experience.

The Giant iTab has revolutionised the digital signage industry by building on today’s popular smart phone technology and offers large interactive screens for events, venues, exhibitions, conferences and retailers – or anywhere that benefits from real time visitor interaction.

The Giant iTab was launched in April 2011 and is the only product in the world that has the ability to display Apps on a giant scale. By reusing existing content available from the Apps of exhibitors, event organisers and venues, content can be viewed in real time and users can operate all the functions they would normally find on their app – navigation, exhibitor and visitor lists, seminar programmes, interactive floor plans and networking tools.
