Hawkes, who recently announced that its premium alcoholic ginger beer will be stocked in Mitchells and Butler’s best sites, has appointed Manifest London to help with the initial launch and brand awareness for the born and raised London brand. @wearehawkes
Born and developed through hours of experimenting in his kitchen in London, Hawkes was created by entrepreneur Simon Wright and first sold in East London in July last year. The Hawkes brand is inspired by tales of the original entrepreneurs, the 19th Century ‘street hawkers’, who were a focal point of their community, selling an array of products, including ginger beer.
As the brand grows, Hawkes is developing partnerships with non-for-profit organisations, such as Centrepoint, which aims to tackle issues of homelessness amongst up to 80,000 young people every year. As well as offering a share of its profits, Hawkes Founder Simon Wright continues to give his time as a mentor for the charity.
Alex Myers director of Manifest London commented on the partnership:
“Hawkes is just the kind of brand we want to be working with. It’s an interesting, driven, up and coming drinks brand with a genuinely great tasting product. Hawkes have already seen great success with current listings and we are hoping to further that with the official launch campaign.
With someone as passionate as Simon leading the brand forward, we predict great things for Hawkes in the future”

Simon Wright, Hawkes founder, said:
“For me, working with Manifest was a great fit. I have always felt that Hawkes is a brand full of heart and soul similar to Manifest. It’s a great time for us at Hawkes so we are excited to be collaborating with Manifest on this project”
Hawkes is currently stocked in over 100 bars and pubs, including many of the craft beer sites in London and was recently rated the number one Alcoholic Ginger Beer by Diffords Guide scoring it 4/5 stars.
Hawkes will be available in various Mitchell and Butler pubs from March 10th.
The appointment is the latest in a string of new business wins for Manifest London, including consumer briefs for Samsung, E4 and Fuel Your 10k Hours. The firm has also recently extended its global PR briefs with maverick craft brewery, BrewDog, online dating pioneer MySingleFriend.com and the International Wine Challenge.
