Licor 43 has announced the appointment of a dedicated UK Brand Manager and its new Global Brand Director.

Julia Bliss joins Cellar Trends as UK Brand Manager for Licor 43, having previously worked at First Drinks as a Customer Marketing Executive. Bliss will be responsible for developing the brand strategy, managing Licor 43’s PR investment and helping to further establish the product among UK consumers through its dedicated on trade promotions.

Bliss says: “I am thrilled to be joining Licor 43 at such an exciting time. UK consumers have really developed a taste for the liqueur, and I look forward to working with the team to grow our brand strategy, amplifying the great success Licor 43 has already witnessed in the UK.”

Julia’s appointment is part of an investment from founding company Diego Zamora in developing the liqueur’s UK and global growth. The appointment follows that of Matthew Turner who has recently joined as Global Brand Director for Licor 43. Having previously held the position of Global Brand Controller for the Macallan single malt, where he played a key role in the brand’s worldwide success, Turner will drive the brand’s international marketing and innovation strategies.

Thomas Clamens, Managing Director of Diego Zamora International says: “Matthew and Julia have great experience in the drinks industry and conveyed a real understanding for Licor 43’s growth ambitions across the UK and international markets. Licor 43 is now the world’s fastest growing premium liqueur, so Matthew and Julia will join at a pivotal time. We very much look forward to welcoming both of them to the team.”
