About Jeff Deighton

I set up insight engineers in early 2003 and I have enjoyed a broad spectrum of consumer and B2B projects for UK and international clients ever since. Inquisitive and problem-solving by nature, I enjoy aligning the necessary practical details to the bigger picture and understanding the business issue in context.

My specialities and inclinations revolve around innovation, strategy, communications and brand experience.

In practical terms this means I am generally hands on with clients from before and to beyond the specific deliverables of a tailored quant/qual research project:-

workshops, identifying needs, wants, desires, barriers & facilitators understanding targeting and segmentation

A special part of my work is working closely as independent out-sourced practical & consultative support via our so-called ‘Friendly Review’ engagements

I have been a full MRS Member for nearly 30 years and enjoy being a Marketing Society Business Leader.
