Diana Tickell, the Executive Director Marketing of Barnardo’s, is joining NABS as their new CEO.
Diana is a hugely experienced executive with a unique blend of charity and marketing experience.
Previous to joining Barnardo’s she spent a decade in the agency business, working for advertising agencies such as Brann, Osprey and Lion, in roles that ranged from Group Account Director to Head of Business Development.
She will join NABS in February 2015.
Diana will also be joined at NABS by long-time supporter Charlie Parkin, who is taking up a permanent role in the organisation as Director of Media Relations, to manage the support provided to NABS by the media industry.
Diana said, “Having worked for many years in agencies and subsequently as a charity director I am really excited to be able to bring together my overall experience in this leadership role at NABS. I am looking forward to building on the significant developments made by NABS in recent years in supporting those in the industry to thrive in their roles today and realise their work potential.”
Ian Pearman, the CEO of AMV BBDO and Chairman of NABS for the last three years, said “The CEO of NABS has to handle an incredibly broad brief and Diana brings huge experience and great strategic nous to the role.
