Shrek’s Adventure! London chooses Jaywing to bring new attraction to life online

Shrek’s Adventure! London has partnered with marketing specialist, Jaywing, to deliver a mobile-first, fully responsive web platform. The site will help create awareness and support tickets sales for this new Merlin Entertainments attraction, which opened in London on 1st July 2015.

Created in partnership with DreamWorks Animation, Shrek’s Adventure! London is a world first immersive storytelling attraction that plunges children and adults alike into the hilarious world of Shrek, Donkey and their DreamWorks pals. The atmospheric attraction brings the fantastical worlds of DreamWorks and the Kingdom of Far Far Away vividly to life before guests’ eyes.

Theatrically reimagined, the experience combines live action and iconic sets from the Shrek films with captivating storytelling, an amazing 4D bus ride, jaw-dropping special effects and extraordinary DreamWorks animation. Jaywing was tasked with bringing this to life by creating a user experience and design that reflected the story-telling nature of the experience and that showcases some of DreamWorks most loved characters.

Drive ticket sales

Jaywing’s approach put the mobile experience at the heart of the site. The agency has created innovative ways for the content and characters to respond to more sophisticated browsers and devices, supporting the attraction’s objective to drive ticket sales in the run-up to and post launch. Jaywing’s extensive experience in delivering highly converting websites for other Merlin Entertainments attractions has allowed it to develop optimised customer journeys that will convert successfully.

Now that the attraction is open for business, Jaywing will continue to grow and enhance the website and optimise the user experience as the attraction gains popularity.
