German technology leader for blog marketing blogfoster enters launch phase in London

Technology leader in blog and influencer marketing blogfoster ( headquartered in Berlin, is looking to open up a local office in London. The Berlin based tech start-up, founded in 2013, has created a scalable software solution that connects advertisers, bloggers and influencers.

The young company has earned a leading role in technology a mere two years after entering the market and is opening up the British blogosphere for their advertising clients. The first step in the journey includes a co-working space in London’s vibrant district of Camden, put at blogfoster’s disposal by the city of Berlin.

“Great Britain is the biggest market in Europe in terms of advertising expenses,” says Simon Staib, co-founder and managing associate at blogfoster. “Additionally, the UK blogging scene is more professional than in Germany.” Over 350 of blogfoster’s ever-growing client base, including companies like Amazon and OTTO, stand to benefit from this expansion. In the medium term, blogfoster is going to win new clients from the UK as well. Besides focusing on market penetration in Germany, the young company is also particularly planning to further their European expansion.

The tech start-up is beginning the process of staffing its first office space in the British capital, after the “pop-up Lab” initiative was launched in London last November

From January 2017 onwards, blogfoster is going to permanently place a UK representative in London, who will be in charge of building the UK network. Additionally, there will be an official launching event in London, closing the launch phase in January 2017.

The team of 30 in Berlin will be in charge of the processing and will continue to expand the market-leading technology for bloggers to other influencer channels like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. “Our goal is to become the leaders in influencer technology in Europe,” says Simon Staib. There are currently more than 8,500 bloggers with a total reach of 30 million readers, who are using the blogfoster software.
