Billington Cartmell Group has today announced that Simon Marshall will be joining as Chief Executive Officer, taking over from John Gellett.
Simon has over 20 years of experience under his belt having been Chief Executive of Publicis Dialog in the UK, Director at OgilvyOne and most recently Managing Director of The Marketing Store North America.
There, Simon was responsible for operations in both the US and Canada representing a diverse group of clients including McDonald’s, Nissan, Shell, Coca-Cola North America and General Mills amongst others. Simon’s other UK and international client experience includes American Express, British Airways, General Motors, Zurich Financial Services and Renault.
18 October 2013, London: Jason Nicholas, former Billington Cartmell Group MD, has joined Space, the award-winning creative agency, as joint Managing Partner.
Nicholas joins David Atkinson, co-founder and Managing Partner, to lead the agency and drive its growth agenda. The agency was founded in 2003 and is completing its tenth year.
Brave and Billington Cartmell hire Hellberg as ECD. Bo Hellberg, the executive creative director at Paris-based agency Megalo & Company, has been appointed executive creative director of Brave and its sister agency Billington Cartmell.
He replaces Beri Cheetham, who joined Leo Burnett-owned shop Arc in November 2012 at the same time as the Billington Cartmell group was bought private equity company Hutton Collins Partners.
Baby food brand Ella’s Kitchen is set to launch its highest profile campaign, created by Billington Cartmell, with the aim of promoting the brand’s ‘Good In Every Sense’ positioning.
Planned and bought by ZenithOptimedia, the campaign is spearheaded by a 30-second TV ad that will run nationally for five weeks.
