More and more shoppers are regularly using voucher codes. Many shoppers now assume a brand will offer them money off at some point during their purchase. If you ignore their demands, you'll be losing sales, emptying baskets and missing out on customers who will soon flock to your competitors.
The UK alone saw 688 million vouchers redeemed in 2014, and that number has already ballooned. For many shoppers, it's second nature to search for money-saving discount codes and deals before completing a purchase, and sometimes before shopping with a certain brand. German biscuit maker Bahlsen asked @Toucan_ to help them celebrate their 125th birthday by taking their brand on a tour of retailer head offices across the UK.
The events, running from March to July, have seen the brand sampling their range at nine retailer and publisher head offices, including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, ASDA and The Grocer publisher William Reed.
