Women for Women : Coppafeel causes a great deal of controversy

In what is either a very smart or a very naive move breast cancer charity Coppafeel, which encourages women to check their breasts for signs of cancer, has linked up with The Sun’s Page 3 for a campaign that brings Page 3 to page one today.

The campaign will undoubtedly garner huge attention for Coppafeel among the young female demographic they’re aimed at and as well as the front page of Britain’s most popular newspaper they’ve already appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s show on morning TV. However, internet commentary is already suggesting that they’re being used by The Sun to give legitimacy to the much maligned Page 3. Women for Women : ais London creates new ‘embarrassing text’ campaign for CoppaFeel!

Creative agency, ais London, has unveiled a new ‘embarrassing text’ campaign for the youth breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!. It sets out to encourage young women to sign up for a free, monthly text reminder service, prompting them to check their boobs.

Following on from the success of the agency’s 2012 ‘CoppaFeel! in the Shower’ campaign, ais London has created a new initiative to capture the attention of young women in washrooms.

The creative shows a stream of embarrassing texts - likely to be sent on a late night out - and highlights the benefits of sending a text to CoppaFeel!, one they’ll be glad they sent.
