Marketers given smart dashboards to improve conversion rates

Mobile analytics provider Netbiscuits has launched a series of new smart dashboards and reporting tools in its Mobile Analytics tool.

With the goal of making it easy for marketers track what mobile visitors are doing while on site,  @Netbiscuits says it can help businesses understand why customers engage and why they leave mobile websites, based on factors such as screen size, bandwidth, operating system and other attributes.

The full version is available for here free and is capped by usage rather than functionality.

As mobile overtakes desktop web traffic, the Mobile Analytics tool has been designed to give marketers a user-friendly interface, so they can segment their mobile visitors and identify which areas are working and where improvements need to be made. [more…]

Current CEO Michael Neidhoefer assumes the role of non-Executive Chairman of the Board

Netbiscuits, a global leader in mobile analytics and device detection, today announced the appointment of Daniel Weisbeck to Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Daniel previously held the position of CMO at @Netbiscuits and in September of 2013 took on the additional role of COO.

Daniel succeeds Netbiscuits’ co-founder Michael Neidhoefer who assumes the role of non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and will pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities. The move comes ahead of Netbiscuits forthcoming product launch set to arrive in October which Daniel has spearheaded from the outset.

Netbiscuits have released its quarterly web trends report analysing user behaviour on the mobile web across 242 countries.

@Netbiscuits discovered over 4,000 unique devices, across more than 200 vendors and 26 operating systems, an increase of 8% unique mobile handsets and 30% more tablets compared to 3 months ago.

Using the data, Netbiscuits was able to group together factors, such as screen size and speed of connectivity against the proportion of web traffic to build up a picture of how these characteristics impact user engagement globally. This data is used to create personas which segment users based on their behaviour, which is hugely important for mobile marketers trying to engage with customers and gain a better understanding of how to improve conversion via mobile devices.
