Buxton creates commuter badges to support Virgin Money London Marathon runners

As part of its sponsorship of the Virgin Money London Marathon and to show its support for the runners taking part, Buxton has created a “Marathon Legs” badge.

Created by RAPP UK , the baby-on-board style badges are designed to celebrate and recognize the runner’s achievement and encourage commuters to offer a seat to tired marathon runners the day after the race. Badges will be handed out at the Virgin Money London Marathon Expo on 20th & 21st April, ready for all marathon running commuters to wear on Monday when their legs are at their weakest and the post-race adrenaline has faded. Latest  The Chemistry Works, a club of independent creative agencies across core marketing and branding disciplines who work together to help clients bring their brands to life, was awarded a Silver for ‘Best Visual Identity from the Food and Beverage Sector’ at the 2018 Transform Awards Europe on Monday.

The prize was awarded to The Chemistry Works for rebranding the Tavern Snacks product range. Initially appointed to redesign the packaging for just one of Tavern’s new products, The Chemistry Works’ team demonstrated that the inconsistent look and feel of the existing product range was holding back the brand in the competitive bar snacks sector. Following a continued period of growth for the agency’s Manchester-based team, Amaze One – part of the St Ives Group – has announced the appointment of Mark Laycock to the role of Art Director.

Mark joins the Manchester office’s team from creative agency Spoken-Image, where he honed his craft in a series of design-based roles, overseeing projects for a number of iconic clients including; Historic Royal Palaces, Kellogg’s, The National Trust, Royal Botanic Gardens, Peel Holdings, Westminster Abbey and the Department of Health.

Made.com launches new “Live Unboxed” brand platform / Fabula

Made.com, the furniture retailer, has launched a new brand platform and campaign seeking to upturn lifestyle category clichés and show how its customers really live.

The new “Live Unboxed” platform is the first work for the brand by Fabula and initially launches with a campaign spanning print, online and social media across the brand’s Instagram and Facebook channels.

The creative executions show scenes in the home played out in unexpected ways. One shows a party taking place in a living room furnished with Made.com pieces, with the words: “I don’t stay in. I stay up.” Another shows two women playing table tennis on a Made.com dining table with the line: “I don’t serve. I play.”
