British mumpreneurs are an increasingly powerful economic group, adding billions to the UK economy and supporting thousands of jobs, new research from online marketplace eBay reveals.
Businesses set up and run by mums as sole-proprietors are flourishing, generating £7.2 billion for the UK economy in 2014, and supporting 204,600 jobs last year alone. The retail sector which includes jobs in bricks and mortar shops, market stalls and specialist online retail contributes £650 million to the economy each year.

Leading mobile experts add creative firepower to bolster offering -
London. 30 June 2014. Fetch has appointed Paul-Eric Lefebvre to the newly created role of Creative Director for its London office.Reporting into the agency’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Greg Grimmer, Lefebvre will be charged with driving and delivering outstanding work across all Fetch’s clients which include Hotels.com, eBay, Sony Music and William Hill.
His brief will be to drive creative direction across all of the agencies output, which already takes in mobile, cross-screen, multi-platform and digital out of home campaigns.
