Made in Britain? Six-in-ten UK consumers say country of origin is one of most important factors in brand choice

Consumers prefer global brands for electronics but local ones for food.   Six-in-ten British consumers say a brand’s country of origin is at least as important to them, on average, as factors such as its range, price, function and quality – according to Nielsen’s new Global Brand-Origin Survey.
