Excitement is mounting as the first round of voting in the Internet Retailing Awards reaches its conclusion with the long-awaited publication of the retail names who have been commended in the awards.

Internet Retailing ecommerce Birthday Party Awards: report and pictures

Net-a-Porter, Amazon, House of Fraser and Aurora Fashions were among the winners of the inaugural Internet Retailing ecommerce Birthday Party Awards this week.

More than 270 people gathered to celebrate the coming of age of ecommerce 18 years after the first online purchase took place. The event took place at the Cannon Bridge Roof Gardens in London.
