Karmarama wins DMA Grand Prix for Unibet

The winners of this year’s DMA Awards have been revealed, with Karmarama and Unibet taking home the Grand Prix for their ‘Luck is no coincidence’ campaign, successfully combining a brave strategy for the business with great creative to deliver fantastic results.

Rachel Aldighieri, MD of the DMA, said: “This year’s DMA Awards included one of the largest fields in its history, which resulted in one of our most diverse shortlists vying for a Gold on the night.

MRM Meteorite leads DMA Awards nominations

MRM Meteorite leads the DMA Awards shortlist with 14,  as the full 2016 shortlist is announced The finalists for this year’s DMA Awards reveals MRM Meteorite leading the way with 14 nominations, for 4 campaigns.

This year’s shortlist also showcases one of the largest fields in the Awards history, with 171 brands vying for a Gold in one of the 34 categories, as well as being in line to take home the prized Grand Prix award.

Monday office banter – Virgin Holidays calls on people to #ShowOff with pride

M&C Saatchi and LIDA have unveiled a tongue in cheek campaign for Virgin Holidays – ‘Don’t be Sorry’ – in response to Three’s ‘Sorry for the Holiday Spam’ campaign.

Running at Elephant and Castle’s South London Gateway today, where it contrasts with Three’s initiative, ‘Don’t be Sorry’ tells people they should take pride in showing off their best selves on a Virgin holiday. The campaign sports the hashtag  #ShowOff encouraging people not to hold back on celebrating what Three would call their ‘holiday spam’ on social media, and telling them ‘You look delicious’.

Direct and Digital agency LIDA @lidalondon continues to expand its offering with the promotion of former Managing Partner, Jonathan Goodman, to Managing Director.

The move comes in a period of accelerated growth for the award-winning agency that recently launched its inaugural international office, LIDA Australia. Goodman has been instrumental in securing a number of new business wins for the agency including Virgin Holidays and Land Rover Retail. He was also responsible for a number of award-winning campaigns, including IKEA ‘Snap a Napper’.
