Twitter and TOPSHOP will showcase emerging fashion trends as they happen live from London Fashion Week in a unique collaboration broadcast across eight Ocean screens in six UK cities.

Listening to the industry and influencers as they Tweet at and around shows, Twitter and TOPSHOP will highlight next season’s trends and communicate them via Ocean’s The Grid network of screens, online and in store. The campaign, created by Twitter UK for TOPSHOP, breaks on February 20 across Ocean’s The Grid network in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.

London comes near the bottom of the list of the dirtiest hotels

A look at the countries with the cleanest (and dirtiest) hotels, according to a survey: http://on.wsj.com/1wMFgyF

Rio de Janeiro ranked at the bottom of the list with a score of 7.29, followed by London (7.52), Oslo (7.53) and Amsterdam (7.58). Despite its rich tourism offerings, Paris also scored a lowly 7.63, placing it sixth on the ranking of cities with unclean hotel rooms.

First Group launches multi-channel ‘Be A Great Westerner’ campaign

MEC, a leading media agency @MECideas, has launched a new multi-channel campaign for @FGW First Great Western.

The ‘Be A Great Westerner’ campaign will run across the South West including activity in London, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Swansea, Devon and Cornwall.

The 10 week campaign launches with a four page wrap of the London Metro as well as full page ads across the network. The campaign aims to inspire customers to ‘Be A Great Westerner’ with activity across OOH, radio, TV, digital, newspaper and paid search.

The campaign includes a media first, through a partnership with the Evening Standard/London Live. The partnership will launch on 3 June with a four page pullout, promotions across bill posters and an additional print run of 20,000 to be distributed across all trains leaving Paddington. [more…]
