RadiumOne appoints Craig Tuck as first UK MD

Marketing technology business RadiumOne has appointed Craig Tuck to the newly created position of UK managing director.

Tuck, previously UK sales director, will report to Rupert Staines, the EMEA MD.

He will oversee the UK team of 60 people and focus on driving revenue and relationships across the wider industry. [more…]

80% of ‘shared’ content on mobile is viewed via Dark Social

The way Britons share and interact with online content on smartphones is dominated by Dark Social channels according to marketing technology experts, RadiumOne.

Over three-quarters (77%) of publishers’ or marketers’ content shared via mobile phones takes place via private Dark Social channels, such as email, text and instant messaging – versus just 23% via public social networks. When it comes to engaging with shared content, 80% of UK mobile clickbacks happen via Dark Social.

New Research from RadiumOne

According to new research from marketing technology experts RadiumOne, 98% of people over 16 years of age will give Christmas presents this year, spending on average £489.04.

The most generous gift givers are 25-34 year olds (averaging £665) and those living in London (£767), while, regionally, people in Yorkshire & the Humber will spend the least (£378).
