SPAR UK’s stunning new TV ad gets set to hit shoppers’ screens.Please feel free to click on this link to view the new TV advert, which will air during Emmerdale on itv at 19.15 tonight.

The ad creative has been developed by The Leith Agency, made famous, amongst other things, for their innovative work with the IRN-BRU brand. The 40 second launch ad, directed by the award-winning Martin Wedderburn, demonstrates how central SPAR retailers are to their local communities and brings the chain’s “There for You” strapline to the fore. SPAR is helping its retailers boost sales with a heavy focus on in-store events – kicking off with its £1 Value campaign running this month. With shoppers’ budgets especially tight going into 2013, the promotion running in SPAR stores across the UK is a great way to show customers they can find fantastic value for money in their local SPAR store.

The £1 Value campaign, which highlights a range of products available for just a pound in SPAR stores, is backed by a comprehensive themed POS kit, radio and leaflet coverage. SPAR also has numerous promotional in-store events lined up for 2013 and retailers are set to make the most of them with themed POS and other materials.

Movers & Groovers : Philippe Rondepierre as SPAR’s new Head of Marketing

SPAR UK Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Philippe Rondepierre as its new Head of Marketing.

Rondepierre joins SPAR UK after 21 years at SPAR Scotland wholesaler C J Lang & Son Limited, where he has most recently held the role of Sales Controller in the company.
