Tesco and Summersault Communications team up to produce staff newspaper for the UK’s biggest private sector employer

Tesco has appointed Summersault Communications, one of the UK’s biggest employee engagement specialists, to produce its staff newspaper The One.

The contract was awarded following a competitive pitch and means that Summersault will take on Tesco’s existing monthly publication.

“This Tesco deal was too good to be true” / Blunder of the week

A computer glitch saw the new Apple iPad go up for sale for £49.99 on Tesco's website.    The device is not due for launch until 17 March, and will in fact be priced at £559 for the 4G 64GB model.    A spokesman for Tesco said: "We like to offer our customers unbeatable value, but unfortunately this is an IT error that is currently being corrected."£559.00
