New research out today reveals that almost three quarters (72%) of UK SVoD subscribers that expressed a preference do not consider any form of sponsorship or advertising on Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVoD) acceptable.

‘Next time label it’ / Brother UK is set to launch its biggest ever marketing campaign

The £2m multi-channel campaign will include advertising across TV, radio, and digital platforms including video-on-demand, alongside channel partner engagement, PR and social media.

It introduces the strapline ‘Next time label it’, and illustrates a series of comical mishaps which happen when things aren’t labelled. The TV ad, which will launch on 1st August as a 30 second spot across ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky, was created by France-based agency Rosapark and directed by Bart Timmer.

RTÉ sells almost 100% of digital video ad inventory with Adap.tv private marketplace

RTÉ, the biggest broadcaster in the Irish Republic, has expanded its business beyond its core territory by partnering with Adap.tv, the video advertising platform used by the world’s largest brands, agencies and publishers. Offering its digital video inventory to select advertisers via a private marketplace on the Adap.tv platform enables RTÉ Digital to achieve an advertising fill rate of nearly 100% in regions including the UK and US. Chambord, the French black raspberry liqueur, has announced its first ever TV advertising campaign with a sponsorship of E4’s newest US drama.

The Brown-Forman owned brand will sponsor ‘Revenge’, an ABC Studios drama starring Emily VanCamp ("Brothers & Sisters") and set in the modern day millionaire’s playground of the Hamptons. The plot centres around a mysterious young woman arriving in a community of wealth and privilege with a sole purpose – to exact revenge on those responsible for destroying her family. [more…]
