Watch : Home of Amazing Moments’ tourism campaign launches to get Brits to ‘holiday at home’

In the run-up to May half-term and the summer holiday season VisitEngland has today launched its largest domestic marketing campaign for 2016 to promote amazing ‘moments’ that can only be experienced on a trip across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The four-week #OMGB ‘Home of Amazing Moments’ TV, digital and print campaign, part of the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, uses film and images of authentic experiences and activities shot on locations across the UK to inspire people to take a short-break at home. Agency RKCR/Y&R produced the creative for this year’s campaign.

VisitBritain has appointed Search Laboratory, to manage the multilingual search engine marketing for VisitBritain’s online shop

VisitBritain, the national tourism agency, has appointed global search engine marketing experts, Search Laboratory, to manage the multilingual search engine marketing for VisitBritain's online shop.

Following a competitive tender involving the evaluation of six agencies, Search Laboratory has been awarded the two year contract to manage the site's search engine marketing requirements globally, across multiple foreign languages.

The VisitBritain Shop is part of a family of websites aimed at supporting British tourism and driving ticket sales around the world for a range of British tourism products, including travel and transport tickets, together with bookings for sightseeing tours and other popular tourist attractions.
