When the wallets start to tighten up and companies stop hiring and start firing; you’re prospect is going to be very risk averse. Look at it from the perspective of the client – maybe the incumbent doesn’t have incredible customer service but it’s serviceable."

Access has named Jolanta Pilecka as its chief marketing officer (CMO)

Access has named Jolanta Pilecka as its chief marketing officer (CMO).

The move is part of the firm’s rapid expansion plans for acquisition and organic growth following a £50m management buyout deal with Lyceum Capital last year. As well as boosting the M&A executive team, she will be responsible for all strategic and tactical PR and marketing activities and will report directly to Chris Bayne, CEO for Access.

Consumers feel positive towards major banks and building societies but… / Creston Unlimited

Research carried out by branding consultancy Creston Unlimited has identified that, despite the financial meltdown, consumers feel positive towards major consumer-facing financial organisations (banks and building societies), scoring them above average compared to all brands for providing them with Confidence (10% above average – a higher Confidence score than for any market sector).
