European companies paying the price for poor document processes

Adobe today released new findings revealing that professionals across Europe are spending almost one day a week (6.8 hours) on office administration such as filling out forms, printing documents, and chasing for signatures. Seemingly simple tasks are complex and time-intensive, and as a result, are inhibiting business growth, draining productivity and wasting resources.

According to the research, business productivity is taking a significant hit with almost half of European employees (48%) reporting that they have lost a contract all together due to office tasks going wrong, and one in three (33%) have been forced to cancel a project due to the same problem—highlighting a significant area of concern for businesses

Research : Black Friday now biggest shopping day of the UK holiday season, according to Adobe Digital Insights

Black Friday is now the UK’s biggest online shopping day of the Christmas season, reveals the latest Adobe Digital Insights (ADI) study. Online revenues around Black Friday alone are expected to hit £901 million ($1.1 billion) this year, driven by aggressive sales promotions and its proximity to most peoples’ final pay day before Christmas.

Consumer activity around both Black Friday and Cyber Monday (usually the last Friday and Monday of November, respectively) shows no sign of abating, with spending growth on these two days outpacing annual average growth in the UK by 50 percent. Both are relatively recent imports from the US holiday calendar.

IoT is A-OK with consumers … ADI ‘Digital Trends Report’

As 2015 draws to a close, Adobe has released the findings of its 2015 ADI ‘Digital Trends Report’, which has revealed that consumers are embracing IoT technology with open arms.

The report found that 51% of smartphone owners have already interacted with a home IoT device, and based on analysis of over 20 million social engagements, 75% mention these devices in relation to joy, admiration, and anticipation.

Adobe has release its latest Digital Trends 2015 report, surveying the responses of more than 6,000 mar­ket­ing, and ecom­merce pro­fes­sion­als around the world on their digital marketing predictions for the upcoming year.

The report demonstrates that for 2015, cus­tomer expe­ri­ence has developed as an over­ar­ch­ing dri­ver with 22% of client-side organ­i­sa­tions view­ing this as the most excit­ing oppor­tu­nity, and 78% of com­pa­nies agree­ing that they would be try­ing to dif­fer­en­ti­ate through cus­tomer expe­ri­ence in the year ahead.
