I should first come clean – I have never actually been an awards judge; however, I have been lucky enough to help organise the judging process for the 2016 and 2017 World Media Awards.
It is rather a privileged position to be in – you are exposed to loads of brilliant work, you get to meet amazing judges and listen to them deliberate, but without any of the responsibility!
And it is a responsibility, as anyone who has entered an award will have put time, effort and love into their campaign, and that should be respected. [more…]
The three finalists for this year’s DMA Breakthrough Award, sponsored by The Economist, have been revealed.
This year’s shortlist was decided from a field that includes entries from 11 different Universities around the UK, with students studying anything from advertising and marketing to graphic design and psychology.
The Content Marketing Association (CMA), the industry body for the content marketing industry, has revealed its shortlist for the International Content Marketing Awards. The winners of the world's single most competitive awards competition for content marketing agencies will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday November 22nd at the Roundhouse in London.

The World Media Group has launched the World Media Awards – the first ever global media industry Awards to celebrate the best in content-driven communications campaigns that have truly international reach.
The Content Marketing Association (CMA), the industry body for the content marketing industry, has revealed the shortlist for its International Content Marketing Awards, to be held on Wednesday, 27th November at Old Billingsgate in London.
The CMA Awards 2013 is already the biggest in the Awards’ 15-year history, with 63 content marketing agencies submitting 445 entries from five continents, including countries such as Qatar and Singapore. The total number of entries is a 5% increase from 2012, with the number of agencies submitting entries increasing 23% year-on-year. [more…]
