Gmail update to encourage Google+ take up? / Red Rocket Media

Chris Taylor of Red Rocket Media writes ...Google has craftily updated its email platform Gmail, introducing a host of integrated features designed to draw attention to its Google+ social network.

Cnet.com reports that there are two major tweaks this week; both of which designed to show off a user’s calling card on the Google+ network.

Food – it seems- has become the cause of a global epidemic that we all seem to be casually ignoring. The marketing of junk to kids, the rewarding of junk as a treat and or ignorance as to how this crap affects us is alarming.

But the debates surrounding the issues are complex. We don’t have enough of an understanding of them to offer an educated alternative in this forum, but what we do feel however is that money and greed seems to be put before people in countries around the world struggling with this ‘problem’. via Cherryflava

Is this advertising campaign for new condom brand SKYN offensive?

The Advertising Standards Authority has decided not to ban an advertising campaign for new condom brand SKYN, following complaints that it was offensive and in potential view of children. The ASA received 26 complaints in all about the condom poster campaign from Ansell to promote its new brand that began in March.
