Company: Employed by TRO on behalf of a global beer brand

Role: Minimum 9 months fixed term contract, full time

Salary: 25K + dependant on experience

Reporting to: Team Leader and TRO

Do you have experience within the brewing sector and / or bar or hospitality industry with a credible reputation?

Do you love interacting with people?

Are you a proactive self-starter who excels in working independently and building strong business relationships?

We are recruiting Beer Brand Experts nationwide with excellent communication skills that are fully conversant and passionate about the brewing industry and beer scene.

Working for TRO as an Expert you will be the integral link between the brand, on trade outlets, retailers and other key partners.  Your role will have a strong emphasis on brand immersion and engagement with consumer, key influencers including media, customers and beer enthusiasts. Hosting beer tasting events and festivals and having the ability to identify and communicate with cultural influencers, beer enthusiasts and everyone you meet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being immersed within the brand, becoming fully knowledgeable and conversant on the brewery, our brewers and the beers.
  • Bring the brand story to life for key influencers by hosting them for brewery tours, site visits and beer tastings.
  • Inform and inspire customers about the beer range.
  • Bring market inspiration to our plans; you will be the eyes and ears on the ground – relaying knowledge on up and coming outlets, festivals/events etc.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales to make sure the beer range is visible at retail, whilst ensuring we stay true to the Brewery’s ethic of authenticity and substance.
  • Be the face of the brand to our consumers holding outlet events.
  • Actively record feedback on each activity including pictures / videos and proactively making recommendations to continually enhance such events to drive distribution and rate of sale.

General Responsibilities:

  • Role covers 5 days per week including 1 administration day.
  • Flexibility is required as the role will see weekend work and varying start times.
  • A full, clean driving licence (with less than 6 points).
  • Attend regular scheduled meetings with Team Leader and TRO.
  • Communicate and share ‘best practice’ relevant reporting and communication tools
  • Be aware of Health & Safety at all times.
  • Work with the client’s Brand Team on local events.
  • Understand and uphold brand values at all times.
  • Keep all documentation up to date and filed accurately.
  • Work within company standards, guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism & integrity.
  • Manage own workload and deadlines.
  • Be well presented at all times.
  • A diligent worker with excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • A “can do” attitude with an ability to influence.
  • Drive, commitment and self-motivation in abundance.
  • Proactive nature and solution-driven.
