Movers & Groovers : MEC appoints Jonathan Edwards

MEC, www.mecglobal.co.uk, has added to its expanding Analytics and Insight team with the appointment of Jonathan Edwards into the newly created role of data and technology services director.

Edwards, formerly a consultant at Deloitte and senior commercial and analysis controller at BSkyB, has been brought in to focus on accelerating the agency’s competencies in data.  He joins a 27 strong Analytics and Insight team covering analytics, technology, social insights and research, and brings with him a wealth of experience in business intelligence and consulting – a skill set that is vital in the progressively consultative nature of data analytics and insight.

Additionally, Richard Lloyd, formerly head of digital insights and analytics at MEC, has been promoted to take on a predominantly global remit that reflects the increasingly fluid online world.
