Creative agency ais London has hired two experienced account handlers to further strengthen and develop their client services team. The appointments come after the agency recently boosted their creative and strategic offerings.

The first, David John, joins ais London from Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, as an Account Director. In his new role, John will support and develop the agency’s key accounts, helping in the growth of its business, for clients including Mitchells & Butlers, Betfair and PlayStation.

At Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, John was responsible for leading accounts across a variety of disciplines and incorporated a digital role, combining technical web build projects along with eCRM and social media. He worked with brands including Shell, Delta Air Lines, PUMA and Orange-Intel.

Before joining Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, John was at TBWA where he worked on accounts including, Nissan, E.ON and Gala Coral Group, and was instrumental in the successful UK launch of Nissan Juke.

ais London has also appointed Katie Booth, who joins as an Account Director. She brings a wealth of knowledge and will be tasked with branding, communications and direct marketing for Vodafone.

Booth joins from WDMP where, as Senior Account Manager, she was responsible for CRM and digital campaign management across the Philips Consumer Lifestyle portfolio. She has acquired vast cross-sector knowledge after working on a variety of different products, from sound to oral healthcare.

Both recruits will report into ais London’s Client Services Director, Liz Barnsdale who said, “We’re delighted to welcome David and Katie to the agency. Their vast knowledge and experience across a variety of accounts and channels will be invaluable to the agency and its clients. Both have sought-after expertise and an always-on approach – vital in today’s marketing environment.”
