Minimalist bus shelter effort fight back by Barclays

by on July 18, 2012 in Lead story, Media, PR, Retail News

You have to feel for those poor bankers, being asked to justify their zillion pound bonuses when confronted with the minor inconveniences they’ve caused that have impoverished most of the Western World (apart from them, of course).

And Barclays is in the frame for its role in the Libor interest rate fixing scandal.

Barclays has pulled all its UK advertising in the wake of this and the departure of CEO Bob Diamond. But a friend in the outdoor biz has sent me this minimalist bus shelter effort. I expect agency BBH will be entering it for all the appropriate awards (best use of irony in financial services?).
