Fast-growing digital marketing and social media agency swoops to bolster ranks

London, United Kingdom, 18 March 2014: Dan Purvis has been appointed as Vice President of Strategy at Socialable, a digital marketing and social media consultancy.  Founded by Forbes social media power influencer and visionary entrepreneur, Lilach Bullock, Socialable has more social proof than any other European social media and digital marketing agency and is seeking to capitalise on its recent rapid growth.

Purvis’ remit is to grow Socialable’s clients’ businesses, expand the agency’s portfolio, and enhance Socialable’s services, all of which will help Socialable to continue expanding.  With 15 years’ experience, Purvis brings with him a wealth of agency and in-house marketing, social media, communications and PR experience.

Prior roles for Purvis include being Director, PR at Meltwater Group where he hired and ran seven PR agencies across seven countries.  Alongside his global responsibilities, he successfully drove the company’s high profile PR campaign in partnership with the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association) during the legal battle with the NLA (Newspaper Licensing Agency) on UK copyright law.  He was most recently responsible for European marketing and communications at HAVI Global Solutions, a global leader in packaging, marketing and promotion analytics, supply chain services, and sustainability, recycling and waste solutions.

“This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to work with one of the smartest and most genuine of social media influencers – Lilach Bullock.  What’s more, Socialable already works with some fantastic and innovative brands – such as technology incubator Wayra – part of Telefonica, the pioneering Counter Child Trafficking organisation, and 2013 Top 25 UK Startup, gamesGRABR – the Pinterest of online gaming,” said Purvis.  “My initial remit is two-fold – help our clients grow their businesses, and help Socialable grow our own business.  I’m thrilled to be here and see a huge amount of potential – we’re right at the centre of one of the most important aspects of marketing today.”

“I am delighted that Dan accepted the challenge of growing Socialable and coming in as my business partner.  He has a wealth of experience from both agency and in-house roles, and genuinely loves all things digital.  It’s early days and we’re already reaping the benefits from his first day – but there’s a long and challenging road ahead.  I am determined to translate our second-to-none social proof into real ROI and Social Sales for our clients,” concluded Lilach Bullock, Founder of Socialable.

The social media and digital marketing agency, which provides a full range of solutions and services – from bespoke social media strategies to tactical execution, and from training to digital marketing programmes – currently has customers from all corners of the globe, including such industries as charity and not-for-profit (NFP), property, healthcare and beauty, and of course technology.
