  • The only growth in online sales is over mobile platforms. Mobile is a game-changer, 27% of online sales were across mobile devices in 2013, 85% over tablet but smartphone growth rates are phenomenal.
  • Conversions rates in the main have been falling.
  • The introduction of click and collect has had an impact on delivery – in fact, the growth in mobile is reflected by the growth in click and collect.

The online consumer is becoming increasingly expensive to acquire. Not only does the consumer engage with your brand in a multitude of ways, they are becoming increasingly difficult to convert. Building a relationship and enticing customers to engage with your brand is only part of the story.
