The Metro wins Innovations Challenge Award
A shortlist of ten media owners last week pitched their most innovative media ideas to a panel of judges for adconnection’s fourth annual Innovations Challenge.
There was a strong mix of traditional and modern media owners taking part including The Guardian, Metro, Adform, Acast, Visual Voice, Exterion Media, RadioWorks, JCDecaux, AdMaxim and Time.Inc.
With just five minutes to present, it was a tough brief and in the end it was James Hooper and Natasha King of the Metro who came away with the trophy.
Nick Baum, Managing Director at @adconnectionUK said “The standard of entries is always extremely high and this year was no exception. The Metro’s win was thoroughly well deserved” .
With the potential for the Metro’s innovation to become a reality as adconnection look to incorporate it into their clients’ campaigns, we look forward to hearing how it develops further down the line.
