To celebrate the release of Zoolander 2 Vue Cinemas is encouraging customers to show off their best Blue Steel impression in their pop up GIF booths in cinemas around the country.

The competition where movie goers could win a cinema gift card promotes the new film with the launch of their website and  hashtags ‘Vuelander2′  incorporating the most memorable movie moment #BlueSteel.

The website features reels and reels of Harry Potter-esque selfies from members of the public. Coincidentally the competition came along just as Twitter had launched their new GIF button, making this a social media sharing success.

The website itself doesn’t allow any voting but it does provide some giggles with impressions of varying success.
