How to use effective marketing to get product reviews

This is something the company has to know how to do if you want to create curiosity in your products and draw more customers: create feedback and get a bunch of product reviews.

There are lots of ways in which you can utilize marketing to get people interested enough to leave reviews on your website or external places. So keep reading if you want to know how to product review blogs .

#1: Feature all your current reviews

If consumers never come across comments on your web, they won’t know you want them to rate your products. The more accessible the comments are, the more likely you are to produce more. This is pretty sweet.

This takes the concept of posting feedback into the heads of consumers and makes them feel like they’re in good company when they want to leave a review, rather than feeling like the odd one out.

Display your current reviews/testimonials right on your product pages. Don’t have any current reviews? Don’t worry! Read the next item on this list to understand how to get those.

#2: Use influencer marketing to get product reviews

It’s important for any marketeer to know how to work with bloggers and influencers. All you have to do is highlight all the bloggers who cover topics related to your product and reach out to them.

Once you have established a connection with them, you can start sending them samples of your products to review.

Bloggers usually will not give negative feedback because they want to keep the relationship between themselves and the company. So once you have a few influencers lined up, the reviews will start flowing in!

#3: Ask customers to leave reviews

This shouldn’t be a point of contention or embarrassment for you. You can easily ask consumers who have purchased your products to leave a review! There are a couple of ways in which you can accomplish this.

Send a follow-up email right after a purchase. Automate the process of requesting product reviews. Create an email prompting customers to leave a review and set up a system that delivers the email to customers automatically a few days after their purchase. Be mindful of shipping dates when doing so.

You may want to allow consumers a few weeks to check out the item before asking for a review, based on the kind of items you offer. But, if the item is for immediate use, only a few days after the order, you may want to send the email right away.

You can even use targeted digital ads to get consumers to drop a couple of reviews! Retargeting ads are digital banner ads or supported social posts which only target the people you want to reach by recognizing them via their email address or online activity.

Once a consumer has shopped from your website, they will start to see ads that ask them about the products they purchased and about the site overall.

This is a great way to get reviews.
